immediate failure

I already failed at daily blogging.  On a Sunday.  A day that I stayed home, for the most part.  Ahh, well, such is life.  I will continue on as if I hadn't missed the second day.

Daylight savings time was glorious yesterday morning.  I woke up feeling rested and delighted by light instead of the usual morning darkness.  It is always harder when it starts to get dark at 5pm!

Geof and I started yesterday with a delicious fritatta:  ham, white cheddar and carmelized onions.  It was a great way to start the blustery day.  We tinkered around the house for awhile and decided to go do our wedding registries at Target and Macy's.  Target was easy:  board games, electronics and kitchen gadgets.  Macy's was crazy.  Housewares was SUPER busy and so I waited in line to get a scanner.  The clerk misunderstood me and pointed me toward a kiosk for buying gifts for someone's registry.  At that point, I had lost my patience and we left.  Maybe another day....
